Choosing the Right Dental Implant for You

Like any other product, dental implants differ in quality. At Dental Implane Centre we use implants from Dentsply Sirona and MIS.

Implants from Dentsply Sirona Implants are quality products that are the result of decades of research, development and documented clinical experience. They are made of pure surgical titanium, which is biocompatible to the body.

MIS Implants are made of the highest quality materials and in compliance with the most stringent production practices in the industry. With the impressive research and development they put into their products, MIS implants tend to be one of the best implants available.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are one of the options available to replace missing teeth. They are long-lasting tooth root replacements that are implanted into your jaw to simulate the root of a pre-existing tooth. Replacement teeth are then restored on to the implant, returning you to a confident smile. Unlike dentures or bridges, dental implants don’t move or shift and they can last a lifetime.

A dental implant designed to replace a single tooth is composed of three parts:

  • the small titanium screw that fuses into the jaw
  • the abutment, which forms a small post protruding above the gum line
  • the tooth-shaped porcelain crown, providing a natural appearance

The cost of a dental implant starts from £1,900.

All on 4, 5 or 6

With All on 4 or 6 dental implants we can replace a whole arch or both arches of missing or failing teeth.  This can be done by fixing a bridge attached to dental implants.

The All on 4 treatment is the most cost effective solution. It requires fewer implants in the jaw than traditional methods. Traditional methods require 8-10 implants per jaw, which makes it costly. By fitting four implants we can now give you a whole new Smile in a Day.

All on 4 implants & full jaw bridge cost start from £9,000 per jaw.

All on 5 implants & full jaw bridge cost start from £10,500 per jaw.

All on 6 implants & full jaw bridge cost start from £11,500 per jaw.

We Guarantee our Implants for 5 Years!

If we have any lost implant within the first 5 years we replace it at no cost. However, the patient has to attend his check-up appointments every 6 months in order for the guarantee to be valid.

It’s very important to keep and maintain very good oral hygiene and prevent any gum disease or bone loss. This is why we have to see the patient on regular basis appointments. Implants can also suffer from the same diseases as natural teeth so it’s very important to prevent any of these with regular cleanings (6 months).

We also provide 12 months guarantee for the prosthesis on top of the implants. If any crown or part of the prosthesis is broken or damaged within 12 months after the completion we offer free repair or a free replacement.

However, it’s very important for both guarantees to be mentioned that they only apply when the patient is back on regular check-up appointments. We require an appointment 6 months after the implant completion and one every 12 months after that.

A high quality implant that is correctly placed is more resistant to influences than the natural tooth root. The implants are made of titanium, so they don't break or get affected by caries. With consistent oral hygiene that will keep the gum and implant site healthy, we can have an implant that can last for lifetime.
The actual operation only needs one visit and in some cases two. The whole treatment including consultation, operation, post-op check up and the final prosthetic work needs about 6-8 visits.
On the pre-op stage you have the consultation and then follows the preliminary examination and the planning. Then you will have the operation where the implants will be placed and the gum sutured. Post-op you will have the wound checked two days later and the sutures removed ten days later. Finally is the healing phase.
You can go to work the day after the operation. Some bruising and swelling is normal after the implant is installed, but nothing to worry about or keep you away from your normal life.
You should take care of your new teeth as your natural teeth. It is essential to have your daily brushing and flossing done. It is also important to clean the interdental spaces and the transition areas to the gum. Bacteria can attack the gum and over time the jawbone. We will show you the proper way to take care of your new teeth.
